On Monday evening, we welcomed everyone to Academy Salons Hersham for our annual End of Year Education Show, an evening dedicated entirely to our apprentices and everything they’ve worked towards this year.
Months of preparation went into the event, with each apprentice creating their own look from start to finish. They chose their own model, planned their outfit, developed their theme and brought their vision to life completely on their own. It was a chance for them to show not only their technical skills, but their creativity and individuality too.
The standard this year was incredible, and our judges had a very difficult job. A huge thank you to our judging panel, including our Head of Education, Chiara, for taking the time to support and celebrate our future talent.
Congratulations to Amy from our Esher salon, who was awarded runner-up with an amazing 60s inspired look. Every detail had been carefully thought through, and it was a fantastic interpretation.
A huge congratulations also goes to Daisy from our Claygate salon, who took first place with a stunning goddess-inspired creation. Her intricate braiding and attention to detail were simply beautiful and made a real impact on the evening.
What made the night so special wasn’t just the finished looks, but seeing how much confidence our apprentices have gained. Watching them present their work and explain the inspiration behind it showed just how far they’ve come.
We’re incredibly proud of every apprentice who stepped outside their comfort zone and put themselves forward. The amount of time, effort and passion that went into every look certainly didn’t go unnoticed.
