On Monday 2nd March, a few of our Academy Salons team headed to one of the biggest nights in our industry, the British Hairdressing Business Awards 2026, hosted by Hairdressers Journal International. It’s always an inspiring evening filled with incredible talent, passion, and people who truly love what they do.But this year… something extra special happened.
Our very own Sarah Biss, Salon Manager at Academy Salons Esher, was crowned Manager of the Year… and we couldn’t be prouder. To say the room erupted would be an understatement. Watching Sarah’s name announced was one of those moments where you realise just how much dedication, care, and hard work goes into building a team and creating an incredible salon environment.
Anyone who knows Sarah knows how passionate she is about her team and her clients. Her leadership, positivity, and commitment shine through every single day in the salon. She leads with energy, supports her team endlessly, and always strives to deliver the best possible experience for every guest who walks through the doors.
Being part of her journey has been amazing to watch. Seeing her grow, push boundaries, and inspire the people around her is something we feel very lucky to witness. This award is such a well deserved recognition of everything she brings to the industry.A huge congratulations as well to all the incredible finalists and winners on the night. Events like this are a reminder of how talented, creative, and passionate our industry really is, and why we all love being part of it.
