Course Details
Have you always aspired to become a fully qualified hairdresser, but simply cannot afford to take years out to train? Enrol on the Academy Education NVQ Level 2 hairdressing course and we will teach you all that you need to know to begin your career in this exciting and challenging industry.
In as little as 34 weeks, our dedicated training school will educate you in all the required skills you need to become a professional hairdresser.
What equipment do I need?
You will need to have a full hairdressing trainee kit from your first day. This must include:
All equipment is ready to order from Academy and is of a professional standard. We do not use inferior or low cost tools, which ensures your equipment is suitable even when qualified. Full kits are available at £385, saving £40 if bought separately.

With over 30 years’ experience in the hair and beauty industry, I still have the same passion for creative and innovative hairdressing as I did all those years ago. Having started as an apprentice, as Salon Director, I’m responsible for the successful management of five busy salons and a team of 70+ staff.
My passion for education and learning has resulted in the launch of Academy Education, which consists of weekly in-house sessions for trainees and masterclasses for all levels of proficiency. My ambition is to develop Academy Education into a fully fledged training school – inspiring and motivating the personal growth of hair and beauty professionals.
